Advice letter for Romeo
     


           I know that it's hard to not ponder about the idea of being in love and getting married, but you have to take things one step at a time. I know that in your heart you feel as if Julliet is the greatest gift you have ever received in your life. Even though she may be to you.  You need to slow down and take into consideration that your so young and you have the rest of your life to focus on her. Live your childhood out and don't waste it. Life isn't a dress rehearsal. You only get one so life it to its fullest. Focus on your family and friends and stop obsessing over her so deeply.  There is more to life than Julliet and later on in life you will realize that. I wish the best of luck to you Romeo. Always know that good things come to good people and you are defiantly one to be acquired.

         In the book, "Crank" by Ellen Hopkins it's shows how Drug Abuse can forever hold a long bond with you and never suppress. That drugs can ruin anything you ever had in life that was good.Ellen Hopkins illustrates a story based of of her own real life experiences where her own child Kristina had went down a bad path growing up. A little into the book, Kristina suffers from addiction to crank and can't escape from it because she had made heralded an alter ego. So when she tells herself not to take crank the other half of her start to surface the ideas in her mind of how she should and the benefits it does for her mentally so she can forget about the terrors she lives in. 

       In the book Kristina starts to detach herself from the ones she loves like her mother. Kristina sees her mom as what she always has a person who's there and wants her best interest. However, Bree sees her as an obstacle to her crank addiction and surely later in the book manages to detach Bree from her mother in all ways and see only the negative aspects of her. Kristina a little deeper into the book Starts to get unaware of her sure Situations because of crank. Kristina meets up with a kid named Brendan not thinking anything bad of it but the drugs cause her to think a different way. Kristina  isn't as strong as should would be without drugs. Bree strikes again and Kristina can no longer fight and then gets raped unwillingly. Then towards the end of the book Kristina funds out she is pregnant. She was not so upset she was thinking about the good life she could  have with her boyfriend but o Ly in a matter of time does she figure out its Brendan's. She feels as if she can't have this child, but another part of her knows the guilt that will come of she doesn't have a child. She chooses to have her child. Then through the stressed out position she is put in she slowly digs herself into a hole. Where only Bree is able to control her and her addiction in now for life.  

         In conclusion drugs clearly have a terrible toll on people. As you can tell Kristina suffered from much pain with this and this is a real story put into a words of book told by her mother. Drugs can change people into something they weren't planning to be. For Kristina that was Bree and for anyone else it goes the same. So learn from this that drugs can release all the demons that we all try to keep in and surely can cause us to lose all the people in our life's that care for us deeply and for Kristina that would be her mother. So remember whatever you do never make the choice of taking drugs because you'll be heading for a life of disaster.   

        In the book "Naomi &Ely's no kiss list" by David Levithan and Rachel Cohen, Naomi is far to dependent on Ely. Naomi is always depending on Ely to make her happy, and that is how its always been between the two of them. Ely seems to want to branch away in the story , and Naomi seems to make this really hard for Ely. Naomi needs to understand that what was promised when they were younger years ago should not still be held on Ely so heavy still. Ely has changed alot as a person and Naomi not so much.However, Naomi still needs to take in consideration that Ely should have his own choices in what he does. Ely has discovered that he is a different sexuality than he once thought he was. It turns out that Ely is gay meaning he likes boy only and strictly never will be able to no longer do the things he promised Naomi he would do, because he has no interest in women. Naomi needs to change her perspective on this scenario because she is making choices towards Ely that i can see her soon regreting.   


      In the book Ely seems to appears to have taken an interest in Naomi's boyfriend Bruce. Bruce then also soon realizes that he has a sudden liking in Ely as well,and this starts up a whole fight between the three of them. Naomi is very inconsiderate because she does not think about what is best for both of them who she has had very much experience with both, but she chooses to care all about what is best for her i think this is very unjust and cruel of  her.Naomi needs to understand that not everything is about her and Ely cannot put forward everything he promised years back. Ely needs to focus on himself for once. Ely needs to discover the paths of his sexuality. 



       In the book Naomi and Ely's no kiss list, they both  made a no kiss list years ago when they were very young. They both promised each other marriage.. They also had both promise each other a life with one another forever, but since Ely has figured out that he is gay Naomi needs to understand that This is impossible to follow through for him. Since Eli is figured out that he's gay and is gone with Naomi's boyfriend Bruce Naomi needs to understand that he's trying to break free and be himself for once and not be so dependent on her.Since Eli is figured out that he's gay and is gone with Naomi's boyfriend Bruce. Naomi needs to understand that he's trying to break free and be himself for once and not be so dependent on her.Even though things didn't go the way She wanted, she should still be happy for Ely, and if she really loved him she should let him do. Naomi to be understanding that it is a lot of courage to come out of the closet and she's just support her for her friend at whatever cost it takes, and even if she doesn't enjoy doing it



         To conclude, Naomi any lim to conclude Naomi and Ely had a lot of promises once spoken to one another when they were younger, but this doesn't mean that they should hold these things against one another. What was said back then shouldn't matter now. However, Naomi needs to be exceptive in the fact that Ely needs to live his own life for once. Ely has every right in wanting to.  This book shows that attachment can be a real big issue, but you need to learn to be independent. Because independence is the only way to get through tough times when you feel everyone is against you.
